Tonya is a highly skilled and compassionate registered nurse with over 20 years of experience, including expertise in surgical nursing and operating room procedures. She is critical in ensuring safe, efficient, and sterile surgical environments and supports patients and surgical teams throughout all phases of operative care.
Tonya has been a surgical technician since 2003. She earned her Associate's Degree in Nursing in 2013 and her bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 2023 and is currently working on her Master's degree in Nursing with an emphasis on Nurse Practitioner. Tonya maintains BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, is on staff at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital, and has Panama City Surgery Center privileges. She is committed to advancing patient safety and delivering high-quality surgical care with compassion and integrity.
Tonya assists with consultation and all aspects of clinical care. She prepares patients for surgeries, assists with procedures, conducts post-operative calls, and provides follow-up support. She has been the Clinical Manager of the practice since 2020 and has excelled in her role.
In her free time, Tonya enjoys hiking in the mountains and spending time on our beautiful beaches.
